 New Century Shipbuilding Corporation (NCSC) is located in Jingjiang City Jiangsu Province of China, 10 km downstream from Jiangyin Bridge. She is on the golden waterline of the Yangtze River which is fairly broad, deep and calm. New Century Shipbuilding Corporation (NCSC) comprises New Century Shipbuilding Co., Ltd ( NCS ) and New Times Shipbuilding Co., Ltd ( NTS ), which covers an area of 1,620,000 sqm, owns a bank line of over 3,200 m , a marine design and research institute and a technology center.
NCS owns two dry docks, one for 150,000 dwt vessels and the other for 300,000 dwt vessels, furnished with two gantry cranes with respective lifting capacity of 300 mt and 600 mt, one 1,224-meter-long outfitting wharf for mooring of 4 vessels over 10,000 dwt. NTS mainly owns one dry dock for 300,000 dwt vessels, furnished with two gantry cranes with 1,100 mt lifting capacity each, one 790-meter-long outfitting wharf for mooring of 3 vessels over 10,000 dwt.
Since 1996, New Century Shipbuilding Corporation (NCSC) has built and is building the vessels of all types such as 12,000 dwt Bulk Carrier for transporting wood, 35,000 dwt Bulk Carrier for transporting wood, 14,000 multi-purpose Ship,Bulk Carrier of such types as 27,000 dwt, 51,000 dwt, 52,300 dwt, 53,780 dwt, 80,000 dwt, 115,000dw etc, Oil Tanker of such types as 17,500 dwt, 73,400 dwt, 114,000 dwt ,163,000 dwt etc,and 4250 TEU Container Ship for owners from Denmark, Bahamas, UK, Germany, Italy, Marshall Islands, Turkey, Greece, Indonesia, Singapore, Hong Kong etc and classed with different classification societies such as ABS, LR, RINA, NK, GL, DNV, BV. Up to now, the approximate number of the vessels built, completed and delivered by New Century Shipbuilding Corporation (NCSC) has reached over 100. Presently, New Century Shipbuilding Corporation (NCSC) boasts of annual production capacity of 4,000,000 dwt, with main products: including Oil Tanker of 73,400 dwt, 114,000 dwt, 163,000 dwt, Bulk Carrier of 30,000 dwt, 80,000 dwt, 115,000dw ,176,000 dwt etc.. NCSC delivered 18 vessels of 1,320,000 dwt in 2007, and 24 vessels of 1,930,000 dwt in 2008. Now she has orders in hand of 114 vessels of 13,800,000 dwt.
